'good
idea carolyn!' and so my good chum carlos rented a car.

i
didnt bring a bathing suit but from this distance you cant tell
im in my underrooos.

dang
its hot, better beer me. nice souvenir mugs too.
off to the lakeside stage tent for an uber jam with everybody and
their guitar player.

a
place where happy children grow on trees...

renanns
practice in their cages....

carlos
clips his nails...

this
guy didnt look so stoopid when i was sitting there frying like an
egg.

first
up the 'new ontarian' luke doucet. aloha luke.

danny
michel came up to model the latest in carry on luggage.

renann
and her band rocked like they didnt know it was 100 degrees. frickin
troopers maaan.

some
nice walking around barefoot between shows.
amused by the beauty of the place and the laid back security,
whos most dangerous trappings consisted of an orange tshirt and
a flair for giving directions.

i
came upon a wood nymph who gave me rolling papers and soothed my
soul.

and
then a satyr if there ever was one.
award winning michael wrycraft is a 7 times hillside mc retiree.

the
main reason for coming all the way out to such a show, is to see
one
of the only ontario appearances of my favorite canadian poet; gord.

backed
by a stellar band, gord pumped muchneeded blood to
his forehead foir cooling purposes. i felt sorry for him in the
heat.
i'm such a sap.

this
guy should be premier er something. what an attitude. go dave.

mein
got! gord has his eyes open!

playin
in the trees. some nice. seeing josh just made andy maize's
absence at such a jiggy gig more profound.

on
his knees for the art, gord really gave us the what for.

lots
o folks on that stage to help him deliver his folk-punk goodies.

a
little melville action...

dale,
in full glamour.

julie
doiron was in fine voice, par usualement.

kids
are gettin downie...

my
favorite shot.

and
look what i found wandering in the woods....

oh
my.

next
up danny michel and the all stars. cutest band award fer sure.
hence the glitter twins above. but more importantly, a bloody good
show.

l'il
em had the boys hypnotized. heck, i was hypnotized.

couldnt
get a good pick of the drummers son on percussion.
kept time better than i could have, like a real smooth pro he was.

and
did i mention the cheap vegetarian eats?
