mayday II friday may 30th was mayday II. a second annual musical renofit for the upgrading and promotion of the west end sweet spot and acoustic venue cafe may. there also be a wee record shop set up now where you can buy generously donated cds from the artists ($10). last years pix - this years below:

last
year was such a success thanks to generous talents like tom wilson,
chris brown, skydiggers and more. since then its been a helluva year
and keiko's health is not so good (tho we do finally have info on the
guy who hit her with his car) and you know she never really mended up
after that fall down the stairs. some gals have all the luck.
but she has been good in her life, very generous and most definitely a
character. and so...think globally, act locally, maybe even volunteer
your time. we really need your support to keep this great room open for
biz, and this proud lady on her feet. thanks eh? cvmx
